[Space Laboratory]

The drums in the drop aren't loud enough and the drop doesn't have a rythm or flow.
Some of the bass sounds have no sub.
The first and second drop are way too similar.
The build up could have had a rise/sweep.
The best part of the track is the cool spacey atmophere. :3

I know that drop doesn`t follow any specific rythm patterns.
I was aiming for that odd feeling what Xtrullor has made with his tracks. Well as i see it didnt work out that well, but this track was there to experiment things (basses, melodies, mixing etc.)

Mabye put a short amount of reverb on the bass so it feels more full. I'm not a music theory expert but it feels like the chords are off key.

You should learn mixing.
Some of the parts were fine but some parts got louder randomly.

[We Regret Nothing]

The weird bass sound is way too loud and distracting and dosen´t have enough bass.
The melody volume was way too low.
The build up doesn´t have a first half.
The drop is anti climatic and disappointing.
Mixing is a little off.
The melody is a bit on the generic side but thats fine.
And yes as you put in the tags this is electro house and not dubstep.
+the cover photo makes my eyes bleed. (But thats a nit-pick)

contrary to your title there is a thing to regret.
And its mad mixing.

OK...

The start of your track ended way too quickly and there was no build up to the drop.
And holy shit my ears.
You have to bring the high end down so much.
Some parts of the songs were actualy painful to listen to.
And the bass sounds weak and has no real flow.

This was almost a great track but...

I know you like strong powerful drums but for this creepy half-ambient track I think you went way too overboard.
Strong powerful drums dont fit a song like this.
And again the hi hats/cymbals were too loud.

[Hot And Sauce]

It was a good song but there were 4 things you did wrong:

1) The sound desing was bland but the lovely melody made up for it.
so it isnt much of a point.

2) The bass sounded weak and flimsy.

3) The lyrics were bland as fuck. I would recomend not using lyrics at all except if you recorded and wrote them.

4) Try to hold back on the high end. (The FX´s and hi hats)
Try to always keep the high end in the back of the song. If the high end is sa loud or louder than the rest of the track it becomes painful at high volumes.

Hope you learn a copule things from this review.

I think that the start of the song sets up this feeling that the drop will be heavy, and the great crisp sound desing before the drop feels like its setting up for a great powerful drop.
But when the drop happenes its disappointing.
Other than that the mixing and atmosphere is fucking beautiful.

I hope you improve with your later songs. :3

Thanks for the critique. I personally feel like "big drops" are subjective. It's what you're looking for in the track and how the artist wants the audience to experience it. I try not to rely on drops to make or break the track and instead focus on developing a new sound and experience. So maybe the drop is anti-climactic, but that's no the focus.
