Horrible mixing.
bad sound desing.
Boring and bland.
high hats are way too loud.

mrtmoney responds:

That's great, you heard the early demo version yes I'll admit the mixing ain't great but I'm doing this on a tv hooked to a computer so I can't use headphones. Also I'm baked out of my tree and putting minimal effort as I haven't doe this in years. Check out http://www.newgrounds.com/audio/listen/714353

This isn´t a remix.
This is two of his poorly mashed together.

Not to be mean but you need to learn a lot more.
Make music for at least a year and you will get better.
I recommend you to not watch youtube tutorials (they make you sound generic)
just play around with the music programm you use and you will get used to it.

I truly hope you get better in the future. :D

noahg109 responds:

Thanks! This is my first song, so hopefully will learn a lot more soon.

You did not make this song!!!
And stealing songs is againtst the newgrounds guidelines!

A nice relaxing song.
But it drags on way too long and I dont belive this is drum & bass.
I highly advise you make a Bandcamp account.

The high hats are way too loud.
the main sound is bland.
When making DnB or Drumstep use multiple hats.
The main sound has way too much high end and way too little bass.
The drums are weird sounding and sound distorted.
Try to use more different sounds in your songs.

I liked when the main bass changed into a better bass sound.

Good luck With your future songs and I hope you improve. :D

Dubstellation responds:

Well I appreciate the feedback a lot, and I know it's not perfect.
To be completely honest, this was just one of those songs I didn't care too much about, but loved enough to feel the need to post. I would suggest if you were to truly judge my music that you listen to some of my other music/newer songs to be released soon!

But nonetheless, I appreciate the acknowledgement of my track, thanks for the tips to help with future songs :)

Some tips on making music:

1) Use less samples.
designing your own sounds is hard but worth it.

2) mix all of the sounds so you can hear them properly.
At the start of the track there was a piano that was barely audible
and the drop was way too quiet compared to the rest of the track.
the weird robot voice was too quiet.

3) Try to hold back on the high end too much of it is painful to hear.

4) Don´t let beats of your song drag on.
Its ok to make a short track pepole will get bored of your music when the same sounds over and over again.

5) After the drop was a period when only the drums were playing.
Have some other instruments in the backround so it dosen´t sound so empty

6) Yes, as you said in the description you should try more.
I might come of as a little mean in this review but know that you will get better in the future. Don´t let this review get you down.

Best of luck on making more music in the future. :D

Then check this out: http://www.newgrounds.com/audio/listen/715022

Also, thanks for noticing :D

Well mixed and catchy.
But next time you make a song try to hold back on the high end.
If there is too mutch high end it can be rather painful.
best of luck on making more music.

FU51ON responds:

thank you :) I will try to work on it

I draw mostly cutesy stuff.
And once in a while make some music.
